When I fancy someone I tend to become somewhat infatuated with them... is this weird ?

Whenever I get a crush on someone I think about them a lot and imagine conversations I'd have with them if we were dating etc. I'm not crazy or anything I just think that when I fall for someone I find it hard to forget about them and concentrate on anything else. Is anyone else like this or is it just me LOL ?!
