Is The Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society Legitimate?

I recently received a letter from my college informing me of my eligibility for the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society for Two Year Colleges. I just want to make sure (before I accept) that this is indeed a legitimate honor.
