Is it better to burn plastic toys or toss them in the trash? We are clearing out an old flooded storage closet

The toys are action figures, spaceships, a big army mountain playset with toy soldiers and toy guns. They have been sittiing in grime and water for a few months before we moved in. Apparently, the plastic is not recyclable. Should I just burn them?
